Description
UPDATE 5-1-23 – Mounts will ship approximately May 15. Thanks for your patience!
Our 1988-1999 Chevrolet GMC Truck to 6BT Cummins Conversion Motor Mounts use the factory 1st Gen Dodge Cummins rubber isolators (not included) and position the engine properly in your Chevrolet truck or suburban.
Trimming of the engine mount plate on the vehicle chassis is required for installation and details of the needed modifications are included with the purchase.
Manufactured locally in the USA from 3/8″ and 1/4″ CNC laser cut steel. Assembled and welded with interlocking tabs which make these mounts easy to assemble and strong.
Additional details about these mounts can be seen here. A suspension lift is not required, but K2500 or K3500 Torsion bars are recommended. The upper front differential bolts will need to be replaced with countersunk bolts, which are included with your purchase.
DIYer? You can also purchase these mounts in a u-weld version here.
Helpful tips:
- Please note: Motor mounts are for 4wd only, not 2wd.
- Rubber isolators are not included with these mounts. You can source these at your local automotive store; look for Gen 1 Dodge 1989-1993, anchor part number 2710.
- Mounts are labeled “R” for right and “L” for left. Remember, for automotive applications, everything is oriented around when you are sitting in the driver seat (so, right is passenger side, and left is driver side).
- The stud/dimple points upward.
